Srinagar Dec 24 (KNO) : Extending Christmas greetings to people, J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir today wished peace, progress and prosperity to people of the Country in general and J&K State in particular, hoping that this Christmas will be the harbinger of complete peace and serenity in the State. G.A. Mir in his message of felicitations stated that festivals play an important role in our lives, providing opportunities to intermingle and exchange ideas, besides reflecting the composite culture of harmony, unity and togetherness in our State. He said the people of the State have always respected the emotions of each other and hoped that this Christmas will further strengthen the bonds of unity and brotherhood in the State. Adding that the new year is at the door steps, G.A. Mir prayed and hoped that the year 2018 will be the year of peace and progress in the State, brings happiness on the facts of people especially poor and down trodden sections. He wished happy Christmas to people.(KNO)
